Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bloom Launch.

I have to say Viktor & Rolf are definitely one of my all time favourite brands when it comes to fragrances. I've been obsessed with flowerbomb years, it's always been that one perfume I repurchase & my go-to scent.
So when I heard about the launch of the flowerbomb bloom I was really excited to see what they had changed/added to the scent.
Callum, the fragrance manager at Fenwick very kindly invited me along to an exclusive launch of their new fragrance.
Of course it wouldn't be a bloggers event if there wasn't prosecco && canapés upon arrival. Instead of being at the concession stands we were taken to the personal shoppers suite - I need to experience a PS one day!
Callum, Jasmine && Pauline introduced themselves whilst we got comfortable, sipping bubbles && I got my notepad at the ready.
So if you didn't already know, Flowerbomb has been around for 10 years now, for this Viktor & Rolf decided to launch Bloom as their new chapter of the flowerbomb story. Bloom is slightly different to the original flowerbomb as this comes as an Eau De Toilette. It also has the same base notes as the original flowerbomb but with added fruits, florals and air molecules.
The main things they've added in is pomegranate, musk to deepen and vanilla. They've then added 17% essential oils so the scent lasts longer on the skin. It's slightly strange as it will smell different on difference skin. I could smell the pomegranate a lot stronger on my skin, whereas on other people you could strongly smell the vanilla. One thing I was confused by - air molecules. Apparently this is gonna be a huge thing in the future of fragrances. It's meant to give the idea of floating away/fresh air on a mountain top. It's something Viktor & Rolf have never done before, so I think it's pretty cool they're experimenting with unusual things.
Obviously the biggest change between the original flowerbomb && flowerbomb bloom is the bottle. Personally I prefer the new packaging, it definitely sits in your hand a lot more comfortable && it would be so much easier to carry in your handbag. They've also changed the colour of the liquid itself. The bloom has a lot pinkier tones to it, where flowerbomb is more of an orange colour. I definitely think the pink tones make it look so much more attractive.
The new fragrance retails at a really affordable price. For 30ml it's £45, 50ml is £58 && 100ml for £80. I think it's such a good price for a high end fragrance and it honestly does last all day. Because of the essentials oils it definitely holds the scent longer so you don't feel you need to constantly top up during the day, perfect value for money.
I'm going to absolutely love this scent during spring and summer. It's quite a light and makes you think of when all the flowers start to bloom - it weirdly uplifts your mood.
So there you go! There's the new flowerbomb bloom. What do you think of the new bottle shape?
Have you tried it yet? Let me know what you think...
